NACUFS is happy to announce a fresh curriculum for the 2019 Planning Institute based on The Society for College and University Planner’s (SCUP) Integrated Planning model. The SCUP model is specifically designed for higher education’s unique environment, and is currently the most widely taught and applied planning model on campuses today.
This three-day NACUFS institute will focus on laying the groundwork for strategic planning, the first step in the Integrated Planning model. Built around a collegiate dining case study, learners will assess their institution’s readiness for change, identify key stakeholders, and identify internal and external environmental factors likely to impact planning. The program will be led by a SCUP-trained facilitator, and explore the following areas:
The ideal candidate for this institute is a campus dining professional currently involved in or anticipating future involvement in program, strategic, or capital planning projects on their campus.
