Responsibilities

Reporting to the Associate Director of Dining Services – Operations Support, the Assistant Director of Dining Services – Operations Support – provides direction and management to all activities related to Purchasing, warehousing and data support. Directs staff to meet food cost, labor cost, direct expense and timeline objectives. Responsible for all purchasing requirements for specialized acquisitions of food, supplies and equipment. Provides direction and oversight of all activities related to the management of the Department’s Central Food Storage facility to include ordering, receiving of goods, inventory and delivery management. Also oversees and provides direction for all activities related to menu management and Point-of-Sale systems utilized by Dining Services (FoodPro, Atrium and Sequoia). In the absence of the Associate Director of Dining Services – Operations Support, will provide direction and oversight, for facilities maintenance and improvements, fleet management and compliance with all Federal, State and Local health code and regulatory laws.
